April EWB Northeastern Workshop Meeting

EWB Pittsburgh is hosting a Northeastern Regional Workshop this Fall. While the date is yet to be determined, it is very likely to be held in October or November. This meeting is being held to give a quick overview of the Workshop Roles and Responsibilities between the tri-chapter and Nationals, sub-committee sign ups and what to expect between now and the Workshop. If you are interested in volunteering for the workshop and making it a grand success, this is a very important meeting to attend.

Non EWB Event - Be Hope to Her

Nuru International organizes Be Hope to Her (Bh2o+) on April 17th, 2010 from 2-4pm at the Southside Riverfront Park! Registration is now open at www.behopetoher.org! Men and women who participate would be asked to walk to a water source, fill a bucket with water, and return to a rallying point carrying the water on their heads. There is an $8 registration fee before April 1st to cover the provided buckets and a small donation to the well drilling.
